We've all heard the words "God loves you," but have you ever thought about what that really means? This beautifully illustrated and written allegory attempts to help children understand the depth of God's love for them, even when they are in life's muddy situations. By identifying with a very special and peculiar stone , children will see the immense value they have to our heavenly Father. One who reaches down and follows after them, even when they end up in precarious and dark situations.
Like the wise, old Gentleman in the story, God will go to the depths of the earth for each of us, and it is the hope that this book inspires the reader to dig deeper and find a closer relationship with Him. We must realize that we are not alone in our despair and that God not only has something for us to learn but a better life planned for those who learn to live as He lived.
