\"The Nexus,\" so-named because of the operational intersection or \"Nexus\" of faith and culture, is an alphabetized manual of cultural artifacts of significance to Christians. In \"The Nexus,\" Jon Widener observes how Christianity has lost many battles over the years and how the evangelical community has been fraught with endemic anti-intellectualism. He sees an evangelical insularity taking the form of retreat and retrenchment from the comings and goings of the larger society.
