Julie Renner has survived the first year of her twins' lives, and she feels on top of the world. Then the toddler days begin. How could it possibly get any harder? Daily hair battles, don't-eat-that battles, toilet training fiascos, please-don't-poo-in-the-bath moments wear Julie down, even as she's trying to reclaim the person she used to be and return to work and other normal everyday activities. Does the woman she once was even exist anymore? How can she stop Addison screaming 'EAT DONUT' all the way through the mall? Will her house look like Chernobyl for ever? How can Julie be a good mother when she doesn't even know what that looks like?
As Julie explores these questions, she documents the memorable and the maddening moments in her journal.
