A short story about Alyssa, a scholar from the Kingdom of Sideralis' Tower of Knowledge, who goes out to do fieldwork on her main focus of study, a mountain that has an object of power. She's heard all of the rumors about people not coming back and the superstitions of the local villages, but this is the only way to get more data. Alyssa finds the answers she is looking for and then some when she encounters the mirror and it takes on her form. (18+, W/W, short, selfcest, monster, tentacle) While this is part of a series, each story functions as stand alone tales.
