Women have always been superior to men. Second only to their ability to give life, women's greatest, most fascinating, admirable and almost innate quality is femininity! This art-like quality makes women the more beautiful, graceful and classier gender and thus the sought-after one. The trouble is, of late women seem to have forgotten their intrinsic attributes; or worse, they appear to believe that most of these qualities represent a past when they were indeed mostly feminine but also considered inferior to men and were treated as such. Therefore, to an extent equating gentlemanliness and femininity with weakness, sexism and the patriarchy. The search for equal rights and opportunities has wrongly driven many women to look for equality in everything. What women have bemoaned for millennia: namely, the way men behave in relation to sex and relationships, has now become, in the western world, almost the standard behaviour they exhibit. Part of it is also due to their desire for freedom from the scrutiny and criticism they used to be under as opposed to men. Women thus began to be and act less like feminine, graceful women and settled somewhere in between a woman and a man; something that is apparent by their comportment, speech and behaviour. All of that equality has lowered women to the level of men! At the same time, women are becoming too independent. Their desire to be their own bosses, backed by women-empowerment programmes from all quarters, is driving another wedge between the genders, distancing and emasculating many men to varying extents and to the detriment of both genders. I believe that the reduction in the inclination to be feminine (which basically includes grace and class) combined with the ever-increasing process of individuation are major causes for many of the illnesses that society of late is riddled with, i. e. the crumbling of the family unit. Femininity is a vastly important aspect of every type of interaction and relationship between women and men. Life cannot be lived without differences. Femininity is the one major distinction between the genders which makes everything beautifully different. The second biggest reason why men are so intrigued with women is this stunning, fascinating and graceful quality of women: femininity. | The Lost Art Of Femininity by Ayal Elbaz, Paperback | Indigo Chapters
