A shipwrecked traveler is cast away on an island where a mad scientist plays god, stitching together animals to create uncanny, human-like hybrids. As the fragile laws imposed by the doctor begin to fail, the beast-folk revert to their primal nature, leading to a bloody confrontation between creator and creation. This terrifying narrative remains a definitive warning about the dangers of unchecked biological experimentation.
