JILES PERRY is a rising stand up comic having just returned to Austin from her first tour. Her life is high seas, never mind the part where her husband left her a month before her tour. Getting ready to face her empty apartment, she finds something even better next door... Her new neighbor isn't just a stud, he's her favorite hockey player from her hometown, the Ottawa Partisans' CORY KOENIG, recently traded to the Austin Assassins. The problem is, Jiles kind of hates the Assassins, or as she dubs them, the Asses. Her love for hockey was pure until her husband left her for one of their ice girls. Hoping Cory will hear out her chemistry, she instead gets to overhear him banging an ice girl. Feeling her enemies are getting too close to home, Jiles focuses instead on her upcoming taping, hosting a morning show with best friend BEN WHITE, and oh yeah, an obvious drinking problem. Meanwhile, Cory learns the truth about her grumpy disposition and discovers maybe there is more to his neighbor than just being the funniest chick in town.
