Lightning the Cat has a very important job, to ensure the household runs smoothly. Even more important though, he is a registered care kitty for a little girl that has been with him since almost day one of his life. Keeping Mother, Daughter, and Son happy and mentally healthy is no easy job!
Lightning's world begins to change the more that Son begins to share his experiences with the family. What adventure does he find unfolding when he "guards" the autistic child and his mother during laundry day?
Join Lightning in the extended version of his first short, and as his series of short stories starts rolling. Ah, it's a cat's life...
Set after "The Battle of the Tomato."
This story is intended and written for young children.
