Emotional Intelligence (EI) is an important psychological construct and its thorough understanding is necessary for enhancing teachers‟ effectiveness. This book helps improve in teacher evaluation system which currently assesses only content-related issues and entirely ignore the emotional component of teaching. It may also bring an impetus for future experimental studies regarding the effects of Emotional Intelligence intervention on Teaching Effectiveness.
