The intent of Brion's writing is to create thought-provoking poetry and prose; poetry that is inspirational; poetry that provides solace as a way to help soothe the soul; poetry to assist facilitating forms of closure on a human level; poetry for Hospice patients who are dying and for those left behind; poetry that is helpful to people during whatever may be impacting their lives, and many poems which demonstrate that Brion opens himself up through his writing in ways of honesty for the sake of humanity. Brion has fifty-plus years of writing poetry and prose where he seeks to share light and love with every reader as musings upon the past, present and future, through living and learning from life by way of love and loss, where courage and character always matter.
