Sting of Rejection...
As she stumbled through the darkness, tears streaming down her cheeks, she realized that she had nowhere left to go. She had burned bridges with her family, and now, even Shakes had turned her away. Feeling utterly alone and lost, Lorato sank to the ground, her sobs echoing in the empty street. She had thought she knew what she wanted, but now she realized that she had been chasing after a fantasy, a dream that could never be. And now, she was paying the price for her foolishness, left with nothing but the bitter sting of rejection and the harsh reality of her own mistakes.
...and other stories, and poems.
