Specialized standards have also been established relative to fabric breaking-strain, elasticity, colour, and finish for Govern ment and official contracts. Standardized practice facilitates commercial deal ing and is favourable to manufacturing. Proficiency. d104ural fineness and quality are, apparently, subtle and anomalous technicalities to standardize, but the problem does not offer insuperable difficulties. The two controlling elements involved are the nature of the fibrous materials utilized, and the organized indi vidual and collective groups of processes and operations of manufacture.
