Soteriology Simplified was written to offer a counter position to Reformed Theology. Conversion is an individual's response to God's initiatives in redemption, revelation, and reconciliation which leads one to repentance, regeneration, restoration and ultimately resurrection. While God is completely sovereign in conversion, He is obligated to keep His promises to those who hear the gospel and repent and by faith believe. He is not the One who chooses who does repent and believe and by default the One who determines to condemn a majority to eternal damnation. Men are responsible and response-able for their choices and God is just in His response accordingly. Soteriology Simplified looks at the issue of man's sin nature and its relationship to Adam's sin and then the second Adam's work to correct that problem with the indwelling of the Holy Spirit in the human heart.
