She is currently completing a sequel to her autobiography called Random Thoughts by the Sea. Hess is an avid reader and prolific writer who lives at the beach where she enjoys her life and pursues her other interests and hobbies. Jennifer E. Hess is a freelance poet who lives in Virginia. She works as a managing consultant while she pursues her first love, writing poetry. Her interest in writing took off in high school where she had her first works published in their literary journal, The Lance. Her passion for poetry continued throughout college where she earned a minor in Creative Writing with a focus on poetry. In her spare time Hess also enjoys cooking, reading, and golfing.
