Everet is a single dad trying to get away from his past. That's why he moves with his son Shane to a house on the outskirts of a small mountain town. Everet wants nothing more than a simple, quiet life until he meets their handyman, Wade. Wade is guarded, living in the shadow of a past tragedy. Valentine's Day is coming up and both Everet and Wade are determined to avoid another heartbreak. But Wade can't deny that spending time with Everet and Shane makes him feel hopeful and happy. Will that be enough to break down the barriers between them so Everet and Wade can finally admit they're hopelessly in love?
