Although spring has only just arrived in the Silver Pine Forest, Bruno is sometimes already touched by a quiet sadness. For he knows all too well that — as every year — he will fall into a deep winter slumber as soon as winter comes knocking at the door.
While his friends speak excitedly of decorated fir trees, fragrant cookies, and sparkling Christmas ornaments, Bruno longs for just one thing: to stay awake for once and celebrate the holiday together with them.
But this year, his friends decide that it shall not remain a mere dream. They join forces and devise a plan, determined to support Bruno in his heart's deepest wish. Will his dream finally come true this time?
A warm and touching story about friendship that never gives up, about hope that carries us through every season, and about the small miracle that happens when those who love us stand by us until the very end.
