It is for this purpose that Sri Swami Samarth Akkalkot Maharaj manifested Himself. He is the most famous Datta Avataar in the Shree Datta Sampradaya, therefore, however much one may write about Him, it will be inadequate to express His magnificence and glory.On 3rd April 1878, He completed His mission on Earth and took Mahasamadhi. Even though He is no longer in bodily manifestation, He still guides His true devotees and manifests Himself even now.Through this English biography of Sri Swami Samarth, people all over the world will come to know of His divine work and by practicing His sacred precepts, they will be able to achieve the purpose of life viz., to attain Moksha.
