Got a new rose? What a treat!
There’s nothing so timeless as a rose. With its stunning blooms and delicate scent, it’s easy to see why this romantic flower has been the centerpiece of gardens for centuries.
However, rose plants come with a reputation for being a little bit fussy. Black spot, hungry aphids and confusing rules about pruning can deter green-fingered novices, who may be intimidated by the garden's ultimate diva.
Never fear – there’s no rose without the thorns, as they say. If you’re an absolute beginner to rose-care, we have put together this simple guide to give you everything you need to keep your roses healthy, happy, and continually blooming—and keep you out of thorny territory.
This is how to keep your roses alive.
