Modern NFL fans associate the "America's Team" moniker with the 1990s Dallas Cowboys and owner Jerry Jones, but years before he ever bought the team, legendary quarterback Roger Staubach brought an unmistakable patriotism to the franchise. A Heisman Trophy winner who played his college ball for the Navy Midshipmen, Staubach spent four years in the military before joining the Cowboys for the 1969 season at 27 years old. He immediately took the league by storm, winning all 10 of his starts during the 1971 season en route to a Super Bowl VI victory over the Miami Dolphins. He won his second ring six years later, cementing himself as a Cowboys icon. This autographed Replica Captain America Shield celebrates both parts of his remarkable legacy, complete with an inscription commemorating his one-of-a-kind connection to the red, white and blue.
