This memoir was written to fulfill a promise made many years ago by a young girl whose childhood was spent in hell. While trying to retain her innate goodness, Aleta and her siblings were subjected to horrific abuse at the hands of evil adults, who belonged to a satanic cult located on Vancouver Island. Ring of Fire is a harrowing biographical and spiritual tale of ritual childhood which documents the subsequent decades of therapy the narrator requires to recover from these events. Aleta's memoir describes her journey into the heart of darkness, and how she healed and became whole with the help of compassionate therapists, supportive friends and her spiritual guides. Despite her troubling and traumatic history of abuse and neglect, the narrator is able recover and move on, concluding this disturbing tale on a note of redemption and healing.
