Riding It Out: The Life and Musings of a Modern Cowboy is a gritty, funny, and heartfelt ride through the real West—told by a man who didn't set out to be a writer, just a cowboy who lived enough stories that folks finally said, "You ought to write that down." From the roots of family tradition and early lessons in the saddle, to wild wrecks, hard rides, and the kind of close calls that leave you laughing one minute and thanking God the next, Jeff Osbourn shares a life shaped by horses, cattle, dust, and the wide-open country that raised him. Jeff grew up in historic Llano County in the heart of the Texas Hill Country.
