The spotlight has never been harsher for Drew Slice. With the world premiere of his latest blockbuster, Explosion Force 7: The Explodening, looming, the "Movie Star" persona he has meticulously crafted is under threat from an unlikely source: extreme sincerity. When his girlfriend, Olivia, plans a red-carpet debut involving a dress woven according to lunar cycles and a thread count matching the U.S. Constitution, Drew realizes his "power couple" brand is one interview away from a five-alarm social catastrophe.
Desperate to protect his image, Drew enlists his high-powered agent, Amelia Earnst, to engineer a "Lone Wolf" narrative. The mission falls to Chizuru, Drew's reluctant "accidental artist" in residence, who is tasked with fabricating a "Level-Three Crisis",,,a personal emergency dramatic enough to keep Olivia home, but not so serious that Drew has to cancel his appearance.
