When a new litter of baby bunnies pushes sad little Rae too far down in the burrow, she hops off alone into the meadow determined to find someone who cares just for her.
But the big world quickly proves scary for the small rabbit. Getting lost and hungry, Rae hopes her busy parents will come take her home.
Safe back in the burrow, Rae learns that her parents' love reaches farther than she knew, wrapping snugly around every kit. She realizes that with an open heart, there is enough care and affection to embrace the whole bustling brood.
This tender tale reminds children they're never forgotten, however crowded life's burrows may feel.
