It’s been ten years since Rochelle Graves returned to Royal Oaks,
Winning races is challenge enough, but for Linc and Ellie, avoiding the intense pull between them might be even harder.
Driven by desperation, Rochelle Graves returns to the town of Royal Oaks for the first time in ten years, the town she left in the wake of heartbreak and tragedy. She may have accepted the North Kerrington way of life, trading in her work boots for high heels, and her quarter-mile drag strip for the finest rally racing track in all of New England, but Royal Oaks looks just as it did all those years ago. With one exception.
Linc Archer never thought he’d see Ellie again, not after she disappeared into her new high society life without a trace. But when she walks into his shop late one night, those memories come flooding back, and he’s reminded of exactly why they’d been so perfect for each other all those years ago. Only now he’s the bad boy from the wrong side of the tracks, and Ellie’s life is all mapped out for her, a life that doesn’t include him.
Royal Oaks is known for being rough and tumble, but life in North Kerrington isn’t as perfect as it appears on the surface. Together, Linc and Ellie must navigate a lifetime of memories, sabotage, marriage proposals, and everything it means to come from two different worlds. Perhaps then, they might just be able to cross the finish line for the first-place prize of a lifetime.
