This is the first book in the series. It's here where everything starts and where the brotherhood is formed.
Jack Small was in awe of his grandfather's eighteen war medals earned in the service to his country, not to mention his immense physical stature. Growing up, Jack wanted to be just like Pops. He wanted to fight the arms trade, which perpetuated wars that continue to kill thousands of innocent people every year. After losing his grandfather at the tender age of sixteen Jack started focusing on his future career as a soldier. Pops had taught him to be brave and stubborn so he used both of these to build himself into a physical specimen worthy of becoming a super soldier. He joined the military and excelled due to his natural strength and fitness and when he was offered the opportunity to tackle the worst training conditions known to man, he accepted and left his former life behind him. Becoming a super soldier wasn't as easy as he thought and because of his promises to pops, he had no choice but to fight the pain and continue to suffer in order to achieve his goals. Special training was tough but so were the guys in his group. Soon they bonded and become a team that would never give up and always looked out for each other. This very special team completed training and formed the brotherhood. All for One and One for All.
Together they hunt bad people who died the moment their photographs landed inside their mission files, they were dead, but they just didn't know it yet.
Follow Jack's story as he endures mental and physical obstacles, whilst trying to live the legacy his grandfather has left behind.
This story is very loosely based on one man's perspective of the arms dealing problem in Africa. While the story is fictional, it touches the underlying hardships, decisions, and consequences faced by soldiers and ordinary civilians around the world whose lives are shaped by this problem. It also touches on the bonds that are formed through generations of not only families, but strangers who are tossed together by life's unforeseen circumstances.
Will Jack deliver on the promise he made on Pops' deathbed?
