Mia Harlin has one rule: never date a hockey player. She's spent her whole life around them: the egos, the attitude, the revolving door of puck bunnies, and she wants no part of it. Working at her father's rink in L.A., she keeps her distance, her sarcasm sharp, and her standards higher than any player can reach. Especially not Cruise Samson: the cocky player who's made it his personal mission to win her over. When Mia blurts out a lie to get him off her back, claiming she's already seeing someone on the team, she doesn't think it through. Until she kisses August "Augi" Pembridge in front of everyone. Quiet. Mysterious. Infuriatingly different from the rest. Now, with Cruise watching their every move, Mia and Augi are forced into a deal:
fake date for seven weeks.
No feelings. No complications. Just a convincing performance. But somewhere between late-night practices, lingering touches, and kisses that feel a little too real... the line between fake and something dangerously real starts to blur. And when secrets unravel and jealousy ignites, Mia is left wondering- Was he ever pretending at all? Or was she the only one playing a game?
