We can live our lives oblivious to and unaware of the suffering of those closest to us. Until we are confronted by struggle, we do not realize what it takes to keep going when life presents hardship and defeat. Promises of Gold is based on the true story of a woman who finds the strength and perseverance to keep going despite abuse, abandonment, and scarcity. As you walk in Margaret's shoes, you will feel the devastation of her pain and the joy of her triumphs. You will pull back the curtains to her most vulnerable moments and read secrets she was unable to reveal for so many years. Though life can be tainted by broken expectations, Margaret's story will leave you with great hope. Through true love, strength and faith, she overcomes tragedy and shows us how to lead a life and leave a legacy.
