In 2075, the advanced state of virtual reality was hard to distinguish from real life. In the last half century, in terms of taste, feel, smell and sight, it was actually more vivid and more credible than reality. Life in cyberspace was always to be a more lucid, more convincing, and more tangible than the real world. But the newest improvements were a lot more akin to the fantasies that Avery or any other visitor to cyberspace might actually have. Avery's closest friend in cyberspace, Bailey, had a tendency to suddenly appear in her yard. Bailey was not a virtual creation, except in the sense that the full-breasted, long-legged Avery was a virtual creation. Avery had no idea what the real Bailey was like. No more than Bailey knew about Avery's successful career in science. Bailey's own avatar was a contrast to Avery's much more voluptuous virtual identity. It was always exciting when the lithe, smooth-skinned, with long straight black hair that came down to her buttocks, girl visited. Bailey, as always launched into the subject of her discussion without a preamble, about an invitation to another 'player' in their VR world, Cameron, who was a nun in real life. She asks Avery along so they could travel to Cameron's home site via the navigation portal that always discreetly followed Avery around her own site. Knowing Bailey, Avery figured Baily had depravity on her mind.
