Dr. Isaac Watts to correspondents in New England and Dr. Green's elaborate bibliography of the Early American Imprints in the Library of the Society. The likeness Of Mr. Winthrop which stands as a frontispiece has been engraved for this purpose from the portrait painted in 1885, on his retirement from the Presidency after a service of thirty years, and presented to the Society by individual members, in October of that.
