A ruthless crew of potato pirates has taken over the kitchen — and they've got prisoners. Rex, a fiercely loyal green jelly candy, Tamu, a tough-talking chocolate biscuit, and Sfan, a small but clever hard candy, are dragged aboard a rickety pirate ship and forced to sail across a giant, steaming pot of water with no way home. As the potato pirates push them toward the boiling center, the three unlikely friends must use their wits, their strengths, and the last scraps of their courage to survive the voyage, outsmart their captors, and find a way back to solid ground before the pot reaches a full boil.
