In today's postmodern COVID world with Millennial needs clashing with traditional church ministry practices and paradigms, Maraschiello puts forth various new approaches for effective prison ministry involvement, and explains the need for meaningful mentorship and sponsorship of youthful and adult offenders in trouble with the law by taking an active part in becoming not just a friend but rather a modern-day pimpernel and "life coach" instead. Not just preaching the Word of God to the "least ones," but showing them Christ's love through witnessing true discipleship in action for today's incarcerated specifically uplifting their social and economic condition for their successful transformation and return to thrive - not just survive -- in society. Not only is this book insightful for Church ministries, but aso for organizations and the criminal and social justice systems, centers of learning, and the offender's family who all have in common the goal of bringing the offender out of prison in a way that gives them hope with a future as an incentive to changes and stay on the right path for life as fostered by an effective ministry support group.
