Set on the planet Syzegis, in a distant galaxy, the Prince of Typgar trilogy is a comingofage story of a young prince Nujran. In the first book, Nujran and the Monks of Meirar, we meet the spoiled preteen son of King Rababi and Queen Roone. Enter Maestro Amsibh, a gifted teacher with extraordinary qualities, and Nujran’s transformation begins. But soon, fate intervenes, and he must leave his sheltered life at the palace with the maestro. He encounters the mysterious Monks of Meirar and learns about their strange powers. Meanwhile Hoanan, the villainous politician, is plotting to unseat the king and usurp the throne. Amidst all the turbulence in Typgar, can Nujran find his way back home?
We begin the second book, Nujran and the Corpse in the Quadrangle, on the campus of the University of Western Foalinaarc, where a body has just been discovered. A mysterious illness sweeps across the school, affecting most of the teaching community. Why does Amsibh come to the campus, and what does he need to protect Nujran from? Through what twist of fate is Nujran reunited with his old friends, the Monks of Meirar? And why does Nujran end up being a captive? In short, this sequel is another fastpaced adventure that will hold the young reader spellbound.
In the final installment in the trilogy, Nujran and the Temporal Traversal, the prince is now a student abroad at the University of Dramsa in Nadii. He realizes, to his surprise, that he is bursting with potential, and gifted with a repertoire of special abilities. Soon joined by the maestro Amsibh, they set off to Inchea on a quest for the fugitives Yarozin and Hoanan.
