LEAD IN THE BALANCE. Jesus knew what it was like to empty Himself to fulfill God’s purpose for His life. He chose obedience, even though He knew it would lead to the cross. He chose to love us, even though we chose sin instead. And His blood was poured out for us to offer the gift of salvation. Jesus led with a balance of truth and grace, confrontation and love, boldness and gentleness. In this balance, we learn how to boldly lead others with gentleness to “come and see” the One who gave everything for us. Lifeway Students devotionals are formatted according to our discipleship strategy. Each day, students will learn to Discover God's Word, Delight in the Lord, and Display God's work in their lives: Discover : What does this teach me about God and man? (Theology and Identity)
Delight : How can you find joy in the Lord in what you learned? (Emotional Response)
Display : How can I live out what I learned today? (Practical Steps)
Each book includes 30 daily devotions, applicable Scripture, prayer prompts, and practical application.
