Acrylic pour painting can best be described as a ton of fun! Although challenging at times, it has proven to be a stress-free "chill zone." Technically, it is the art of using fluid acrylics, poured onto a canvas to create unique abstract art. One of the great aspects of acrylic and pour painting is that the pour surface isn't limited to canvas. There are stunning examples of pour paintings on clothes, wood, or leather. For me, it has become an outlet that pulls me away from the daily grind. It's enthralling and can cause you to miss dinner from time to time.
The beauty of pour painting is that there's nothing wrong with trying new things. If something doesn't turn out the way you hoped, simply let the paint dry and try again. Acrylic paint is inexpensive, so you won't break the bank repainting or starting a new canvas to get the look you're searching for.
