This is a novel study to be used in the classroom with Pictures of Hollis Woods, by Patricia Reilly Giff. This 65-page novel study includes: open-ended questions for each chapter, vocabulary lists, quizzes, and activities. The activities include: vocabulary worksheets and word search/crossword puzzle templates, theme analysis, title analysis, cause and effect chart, internal/external conflict chart, character development activity, journal essay prompts, plot diagram with summarization essay, character analysis essay, mood vs. tone activity, and a Venn diagram with essay. It also includes an imagery activity to be used as an assessment. There are four quizzes. Answer keys are included for the questions, vocabulary worksheets, and quizzes.
