After days of sightseeing and visiting as many bathhouses as humanly possible in the feudal capital, Mazela, the earl’s banquet has finally arrived with Karen (and Aina) determined to make a lasting impression in the outfit Shiro has procured. As for the world-hopping peddler himself, he’s entering phase two of his plan: use the party to launch his planned new business venture, rake in the dough, and make every guildmaster in the city rue the day they allowed him to slip through their grasp for want of a reference letter or five. But what Shiro doesn’t know is that a much bigger challenge awaits him back on Earth as his two teenage sisters turn up on his doorstep, purportedly worried after not hearing from him for months. Worse still, the twins are here to stay—at least until they’ve had their fill of snooping in their brother’s business! Will Shiro be able to keep his double life in Ruffaltio and the return of a decidedly younger-looking grandma a secret from his nosy little sisters?
