The Final Cut explores the long and varied screen career of Orson Welles, from his early masterpieces like Citizen Kane and The Magnificent Ambersons, to Chimes At Midnight and F For Fake. The book also covers his acting credits on both film and TV, including voice over work and obscure bit parts. This updated edition of the 2017 book features fresh reviews, a long article on The Other Side of the Wind, plus new interviews with Henry Jaglom (who directed Welles twice and became a close friend) and Norman Eshley, star of Welles' 1968 film, The Immortal Story. This thorough examination will enlighten the reader on all areas of Welles' rich, though often daunting, life on the screen.
