Fall in Love with Christmas all over again.
By 1933, the economic downturn caused by the Great Depression had made its way to Jeffries, Indiana, a small farming community in the heartland of America. In the weeks leading up to Christmas, a shocking revelation tears a marriage apart and leaves a family on the brink of poverty. Young Annie Ghere struggles to cope with the sudden disappearance of her beloved father, and the seeming indifference of her mother to their family's precarious financial circumstances. With Christmas just around the corner, an act of kindness brings an extraordinary woman into Annie's life, changing her world forever. Despite the hardships, that Christmas unfolds into a season of love, joy and gratitude, creating indelible memories that the Ghere sisters would treasure throughout their lifetimes. This story recounts the miracles that happened... that one Christmas.
