One of these cases, which was referred to in Lecture III., and the notes of which were kindly forwarded to me by Dr. Bristowe after the patient's death, appears as Case X. In Appendix A, and is included in the group of typical cases in Appendix B. The report of a case which came under my own care at the Middlesex Hospital, since the delivery of the Lectures, also appears in Appendix A, as Case VIII, but is not included in Appendix B.
