Old Ground is a quiet, poignant exploration of memory, loss and the unresolved. When Rosalind receives devastating news about her adult son, she boards a train to Liverpool, unknowingly reigniting connections long buried. As she navigates grief, guilt, and the ghosts of former love, a meeting with Gerard, an ex-boyfriend whose life is carefully ordered and emotionally distant, pulls both into an unflinching reckoning with what they were, and what they've become. Lyrical, character-driven and emotionally precise, Old Ground examines the care and carelessness with which lives are constructed, and at how easily foundations can crumble away.
