A pandemic threatens more than our lives in this story by the author of the Moreau Society series.
How do you miss what you’ve never had? Raina knows all about “sight”—that strange sense that exists somewhere between hearing and touch, but has never experienced it herself. When people talk about a color, say “red,” she pictures the velvety smooth feel of rose petals and the lovely scent. She didn’t miss sight, since she never knew it. Hearing, however, fills her days with joy.
When the news speaks of a growing pandemic, one that leaves survivors deaf, Raina fears she may not even have her hearing—if she survives at all.
Ryan M. Williams’ Nothing to Hear, is part of the Super Great Challenge (SGC), one story written each week for a year from this imaginative author. Each story an unique experience that can be read in a single entertaining sitting.
