Talisha Mahon's life has been a never-ending cycle of pain and rejection. Her own pack and sister have tormented her since childhood, leaving her feeling worthless and unloved. The nightly tears and pleas for acceptance have fallen on deaf ears.
But the final blow comes when her own mate rejects her, shattering what little self-worth she had left. Talisha realizes she's had enough and makes the brave decision to leave her pack behind, seeking solace and acceptance in a new community.
Two years pass, and Talisha returns to her old pack, accompanied by a small group, to confront the rogue elements that threaten their safety. But as she faces her past, she's met with a mixture of shock, curiosity, and even admiration. The pack that once rejected her now sees her in a different light.
