A new home in the country. A dead body in the dirt.
"Fast-paced, fun, easy-to-read cozy that keeps the reader guessing." ~The Cozy Review
"A very enjoyable cozy mystery!" ~ Short, Sweet and Cozy
Jane Marsh is ready for a fresh start. Haunted by the "black widow" whispers surrounding the deaths of her first and second husbands and desperate to escape her empty nest, she trades her familiar suburban life for a quiet country home north of Denver. This move coincides with a revitalized dinner club and the exciting arrival of a handsome chef, promising a new chapter. But her fantasy shatters when moving day reveals a horrifying reality—a dead body buried in the yard next door.
Suddenly, Jane's peaceful escape is transformed into a chilling mystery, forcing her to navigate a landscape of cowboys, horse pastures, and, most unsettling of all, a community where anyone—new friend or old—could be a killer.
The police are moving much too slow. If Jane doesn't solve the crime fast, the "for sale" sign is going up!
Join the dinner club craze. Tips and ideas to start your own dinner club are included.
