Few are those who become heroes while they are still alive. Mel is a spiritual hero to so many people because of what he allowed God to do in him and through him. What I like best about this book is that those who know Mel Sumrall the best, love and respect him most. His life, his marriage, his ministry, and his heart to take the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the world are all models for any who will stop, read, and listen to this powerful example. Mark L. Bailey President Dallas Theological Seminary I met Mel Sumrall when we attended Dallas Theological Seminary together. He had a passion to follow God with all his heart, and that passion continues today. God has used him to not only found Denton Bible Church, but to also take the gospel around the world. Mel Sumrall's story will inspire and motivate you to follow his example of attempting great things for God. Dr. Tony Evans Pastor, Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship Connie Cohn is blessed with son and daughter-in-law, Dale and Allison who have given her three precious grandkids, Jacob, Josh and Joy. Connie is passionate about encouraging women to follow hard after Christ. She is a graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary.
