Here a large pile of stones (pulled from the wall but, as usual, not re placed) showed where bunny had taken refuge from his f our - legged pursuer, only to be pulled out by the two - legged ones. From this spot two pairs of shoe prints and one hound - trail led away as the owners went off in search of more game.
