Humiliated, abused, and in mortal danger, with only her sister to help, Tamar devises a desperate plan to force the one man who can save her to tell the truth. Would Judah tell the truth, or would he lie and have her burned to death? What had looked like a very lucky arranged marriage turned all too soon into a nightmare. Now Tamar is challenging Judah, and his stern God, to give her justice.
