A first-ever look at the origins of Caillou, the lovable four-year old who has been inspiring generations of preschool children to grow emotionally by learning, having fun and using their imagination. In this lighthearted and intimate book, Caillou introduces himself and shares the details of his young life: his family, his world, his daily routine. Author Christine L’Heureux, who cocreated the character more than 25 years ago, chronicles the beginnings of her treasured character with tenderness and apparent delight. Illustrator Kary captures all the warmth and emotion that are the hallmarks of Caillou’s early years.
