Moms are already superheroes but when they are battling cancer you see the full depth of their strength and courage. This book provides a genuine yet animated take on the experience of watching a mother undergo diagnosis and treatment for cancer. Author Courtney Kinnison shares from her own perspective after caring for her mother during many surgeries and rounds of chemotherapy treatments for breast cancer. She wrote this book to help cope with her own experience and hopes it will help other families as a tool for the difficult discussions or the tough transition back to 'normal' after treatments end. "My Mama Is A Mother" is a playful and heartwarming illustrated picture book that will relate to any type of cancer.
