Returning to Harper’s Hollow was supposed to be Lila Harper’s second chance.
After a scandal shattered her career in New York City, the quiet quilt shop her aunt runs feels like the perfect place to disappear, rebuild, and finally breathe again. No headlines. No pressure. No trouble.
Then she finds a body on the shop floor.
In a town where everyone knows everyone—and everyone talks—Lila quickly becomes the prime suspect in a shocking small-town murder. With the local sheriff watching her closely (and not just because of the case), clearing her name becomes her only option. If she fails, she risks more than her reputation—she could lose her freedom entirely.
Forced into the role of an amateur sleuth, Lila begins piecing together a web of hidden clues stitched into quilt patterns, cryptic conversations, and long-buried secrets within the tight-knit quilting community. Behind the friendly smiles and familiar routines, Harper’s Hollow is hiding something dangerous.
As suspicion shifts and tensions rise, Lila discovers the victim wasn’t random—and the truth is far more connected to the town than anyone wants to admit.
With a stubborn stray cat by her side, a growing list of suspects, and a past she can’t outrun, Lila must follow the thread of evidence before the killer unravels her future too.
Because in Harper’s Hollow, secrets don’t stay buried forever… and someone will do anything to keep theirs hidden.
