Coles Mumbleweeds: Poems by Annette Johns at Village Green Shopping Centre in Vernon, BC
*Product information may vary - to confirm product availability, pricing, shipping and return information please contact Coles
Playfully provocative, this diverse collection of poems contains a range of rhyming work that's uniquely organized and fun to read. Whimsy and wonder are juxtaposed with harsher imagery that creates contrast and invites contemplation. From original observations about nature to thoughts about identity (and interesting insights about snowmobiles and sewing in between), each short and snappy poem offers a fresh perspective. Topics like love, loss, desire and discontent populate the pages alongside witty quips and deep questions. Mumbleweeds provides a quick read with room for reflection, much like Emily Dickinson's verse.
